Our mission is to provide immediate and subsidized medical services to people who need it most and are least privileged in Delta State, Nigeria., empowering them to achieve their full potential.

VSSL Foundation strongly believes quality care is needed for people who suffer from this type of illness. For this cause, we are fully dependent on contributions from individuals and organizations nationally. These funds play a vital role in its success and will be used to educate victims and carers about this condition. We take seriously the issues of discrimination and therefore respect the views of every patient.

We do have a growing network of 10 volunteers and over 30 members who are very committed to the vision and purpose of this charity. They help in, fundraising, the day-to-day running of the charity as well as organizing events for the charity.
The VSSL Foundation was set up as a registered charity by Mrs. Gertrude Ogboroge in 2021 following her own personal experience with the disease among her family and friends. That has made her to be concerned about the lack of understanding and the inadequacy of treatment for people living with sickle cell disorders.

Our vision is to expand and reach out to every Nigerian in Nigeria suffering from this disorder. We have set out objectives which aims at distributing meds and treatment for sickle cell, for less privileged children, for stranded patients and for oncology patients. If you suffer from sickle cell disorder, please join our service to raise awareness about this disorder and together we can make a change.
